ABOUT

I am a freelance translator between English and French and a French language tutor. Born in Guadeloupe, FWI, I lived and worked in several French speaking and English speaking countries, working across a number of areas including the travel industry, exports, University administration for healthcare programmes, language tuition, cultural exchanges, childcare and working in a dance school. I became a translator after graduating with the University of Bristol, UK. I hold a Bachelor in Foreign Literature and Civilisations and a MA in Translation Studies. I am a member of the ATII, the Association of Translators and Interpreters in Ireland.

There is much more to translation than meets the eyes, beyond the words on the page, it is an artform and a bridge between cultures bringing words to the world and words for the world.
